More importantly, because our faux wood mantels are made of high density polyurethane, they’re extremely durable and low maintenance. They’ll keep their good looks for years to come. While they possess the rich texture of genuine wood, they’ll never attract termites. They also won’t rot, warp or shrink and are great for both interior and exterior installation.

When installed near a heat source such as a fireplace insert or stove they need to be installed according to the fireplace insert/stove manufacturer’s required clearances. • Our faux mantels are durable, but are for decorative use only. Mantels are not intended to support heavy weight.
• Dimensions specified are outside dimensions of the product. 
• This product is not recommended for covering existing materials (but our custom mantels are great for that use).
