Barn Board Wood Column Wrap

Made from virgin wood, these barnwood wood column wraps match the color, texture and character of real barn wood as closely as possible. Their ultra-realistic look is captured from a proprietary wood treatment process that recreates the look of vintage reclaimed beams over 100 years old. Up close and from a distance, these wooden columns are indistinguishable from solid wood. Thanks to this process, the columns are also much less prone to cracking, twisting, warping and checking.

These columns are consistent in size, so covering existing structural elements is easier – the measurements will always be the same from one beam to the next. 

Barron Designs crafts our decorative wood column wraps by hand mitering and assembling 3 sides of the column.  The 4th side is not attached, making it easy to slip the U-shaped piece around a structural beam then attach the 4th side using adhesive and/or finish nails.  Optional base and crown moulding is available for a stunning finishing touch. Moulding is assembled and installed on site.

Everyone loves the welcoming feel of wood porch columns. When used alone or paired with a stone or brick base, wooden front porch columns are a gorgeous way to elevate the look of your home.

Joints and seams in real wood products:

• Widths or depths larger than 7 inches may have a seam. This seam could be evident when looking at the finished product.

• Interior or Exterior Use
• Wooden columns ship with 3 sides fully assembled and a 4th side that is fitted, mitered and ready to be attached on site.
• For exterior installation we recommend adding a high quality clear coat exterior polyurethane with a UV inhibitor to protect the finish.
• Colors vary dramatically from monitor to monitor. For this reason we HIGHLY RECOMMEND reviewing a sample prior to ordering. The cost of up to five (5) samples is rebated with a full sized product purchase.
• Dimensions specified are outside dimensions of the product. Material is approximately 1 inch thick.
• Products are hand fabricated. Allow at least ½ inch tolerance when covering existing materials.
• Products have screws embedded in them. We recommend cutting with a hand saw to avoid injury. Barron Designs is not responsible for bodily harm or equipment damage if power tools are used.
• These columns are for decorative purposes and are not to be load bearing.
