These panels are interior/exterior and will do well outdoors. The wear and tear of weedwhacker is not ideal so we recommend a landscape border like you mention. The coverage size is 46 inches wide by 24 inches high (7.67 sq ft). It weighs approximately 10 lbs. 6 oz each. It can easily be cut to fit any area.
