This is plastic, despite what they say when you call the company. They charged 100 of shipping then when I tried to return it billed me 75 restocking fee and I had to ship it back. Total return on 300 was about $25 would not acknowledge I had called before I ordered to confirm materials

I am considering this for skirting for around my deck. The land around the deck is not flat. It goes from 32??? to 16??? at the other end. How would the starter strip be installed at that grade. Or is it even possible. my concern is that when I cut the siding at the angle of the grade of ground I would loose the tabs to secure to the starter strip. Thanks See more »

The Novik products could not be used in this particular application. Our high density polyurethane panels can be used as they do not need starter strips and can be cut very easily with any good wood cutting tool.

How thick are the panels? Does the color go through the entire panel. I have small areas 12 inches to 24 inches or less. How do you deal with the cut edge. See more »

Novik Dry Stack Panels are 1 inch thick. The base material of the exterior siding panels matches the colors on the face so when cut you will not notice a raw edge. I recommend ordering a sample so that you can assess the material for yourself. Samples usually ship withing a day and the cost will be deducted from your full product order.
