Reclaimed Shiplap Faux Barn Wood Wall Panel - Extra-Long

Questions

Reclaimed Shiplap Barn Wood wall paneling is an innovation in style with a unique, authentic reclaimed appearance created only at Barron Designs. Crafted from molds made of genuine wooden boards salvaged from vintage barns, these rustic wall panels offer the unparalleled elegance and realistic texture of true antique barnwood.

With a design inspired by the need for a more convenient installation, the panels are less than one-third the weight of solid-wood boards. You’ll find the DIY installation fast and easy; it requires just a few simple tools. Even more, the panels’ consistent color style is almost impossible to attain when using real reclaimed barnwood.

Their durable composition means that basic maintenance is minimal, even outside. For exterior installations, we recommend annual inspection and touch-up of areas where the core material is exposed. Application of a UV topcoat every 3 to 5 five years is required to minimize the impact of sun exposure. Unlike real wood, our reclaimed barnwood will not attract carpenter ants or termites.

Crafted from molds made of authentic wooden boards reclaimed from country barns, these faux Reclaimed Barn Wood panels offer a simple way to enhance the beauty of your property.

You can be confident that the wood wall panels’ unique aesthetic will stay as refreshing and rustic as the day you installed them!

Due to being oversized, this style must ship via truck and has a minimum order quantity of 5.

Complete the job with these coordinating items:

Check out our panel installation instructions.

Note: Beveled Shiplap panels have the appearance of each “plank” hanging slightly over the one below it. In shiplap panels, each “plank” appears to be level with the “plank” below it. Shiplap diagram

Still deciding if this is the product I want to purchase, mostly because the cost of shipping is half the price of the product. Seems ridiculous to have to pay that much shipping just to do the front of my house.

I want to cover a bedroom and hall ceiling that has that popcorn crap on it can any of this be used See more »
1 year ago
Yes, our Reclaimed Shiplap Faux Barn Wood Wall Panels can indeed be installed over a popcorn ceiling. It's crucial to add the deck screws into ceiling studs rather than relying on adhesive as the popcorn texture may peel off. Remember, these extra-long shiplap panels are sizable, needing at least two people for installation. For a detailed guide on installing shiplap wall over a popcorn ceiling, including tips for working with shiplap paneling and creating wood panel walls, visit our blog on installing panels and planks over a popcorn ceiling

What size are they? It only says extra long. Are these 4 x 4 panels, individual boards? How many square feet will $200 cover. Maybe I'm not seeing it but there should be something about the specs on this. It appears to be a 2 foot long shiplap but how wide are they? What thickness are they? See more »

At 11 lbs per panel and coverage area needed of appx 400 sf, (20x20 room), can these panels be safely attached to a sheetrock ceiling? Is it too much weight? Also, does this faux wood absorb heat or act as additional insulation if placed on the ceiling? See more »

These can be attached to a ceiling just be sure to drive screws into studs. High-density polyurethane panels will act as additional insulation.
