Custom Timber mantels are the perfect finishing touch for a fireplace in a room decorated with our Custom Timber Beams. They can even be used by themselves as a decorative shelf without a fireplace.
There is a size for virtually any design need. Choose from Rich Walnut or purchase it unfinished, and then paint or stain it however you desire. No matter your taste, this faux wood mantelpiece will meet your interior decorating needs.
More importantly, because our faux wood mantels are made of high density polyurethane, they’re extremely durable and low maintenance. They’ll keep their good looks for years to come. While they possess the rich texture of genuine wood, they’ll never attract termites. They also won’t rot, warp or shrink.

- Although our products are incredibly realistic, they are combustible. When installed near a heat source such as a fireplace insert or stove they need to be installed according to the fireplace insert/stove manufacturer’s required clearances. For further information about fireplace mantel installation click here.
- Colors vary dramatically from monitor to monitor. For this reason we HIGHLY RECOMMEND reviewing a sample prior to ordering. The cost of up to five (5) samples is rebated with a full sized product purchase.
- Our faux mantels are durable, but are for decorative use only. Mantels are not intended to support heavy weight.
- Dimensions specified are outside dimensions of the product. Material is approximately 1 inch thick (+/- ¼ inch).
- Products are hand fabricated. Allow at least ½ inch tolerance when covering existing materials.

I purchased samples and found a perfect match to my new cabinets and floors in the "caramel" color. When the beams arrived, they did not match the caramel sample and were much closer to the "latte" sample. I let Barron know, but they just said "maybe the sample was old" and confirmed they were painted in the caramel color. I didn't have much choice at that point other than to have them installed. They look lovely and realistic, but the color is just wrong. I'm now going to have to hire someone to glaze or paint three 18 foot and two 13 foot beams. So disappointing.

The fire-rated polyurethane looks exactly the same as the regular polyurethane but exceeds the testing requirements to achieve a Class A fire rating. Our products can be used near fireplaces & wood stoves but with restrictions. Our faux wood mantels are made of high-density polyurethane and are combustible. Yes. You will have to order the mantel with inside dims large enough to slide over your existing mantel. Add at least 2'' to the height and 1'' to the projection of the size of the item you are trying to cover to order the correct size mantel.
